About the position

The Cloud Platform Engineer role at Randstad US involves supporting application teams in their cloud journey by automating infrastructure provisioning and troubleshooting issues primarily within the AWS environment. This position is designed for individuals with a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and offers a temp-to-perm opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Help application teams in their cloud journey by automating infrastructure provisioning and providing guidance.
• Quickly troubleshoot issues for the team with a good understanding of AWS.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience
• Deployment and troubleshooting experience with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, VPC, Security Groups, EC2, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM & KMS, Route 53, MSK, S3, Glue, and observability concepts
• Experience with scripting and CLI, CloudFormation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Terraform
• Development experience
• Familiarity with JIRA and Scrum methodologies
