About the position

The Google Cloud Platform team is focused on helping customers transform their businesses through cloud technology. This role involves providing expertise in cloud platforms, designing technical architectures, and optimizing applications to meet business objectives. The position is integral to understanding customer needs and shaping the future of technology use across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure; solving complex cloud platform challenges.
• Work with customers to design and implement Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives.
• Be a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience working with Cloud Providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Coding experience in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• 5 years of experience with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
• 5 years of experience with GCP techniques such as prompt engineering, dual encoders, and embedding vectors.
• 5 years of experience building prototypes or applications.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
