About the position

The Cloud Principal Data Architect will lead data analytics initiatives, providing technical advisory and architecture support to clients. This role involves collaborating with business and IT teams to create innovative, data-driven solutions that address client challenges and drive business outcomes. The architect will assess clients' data infrastructure, design advanced analytics solutions, and lead client engagements to articulate the value of data analytics services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on leveraging data analytics.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
• Design and oversee the implementation of advanced data analytics solutions for life sciences organizations.
• Collaborate with technology leads to understand client challenges and opportunities.
• Develop customized data analytics proposals aligned with client needs and industry trends.
• Lead client meetings and presentations to articulate the value proposition of data analytics services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 15+ years in data analytics consulting with at least 10+ years in a Senior Architect role.
• 5+ years of experience with Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, and Big Data tools.
• Experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud-based solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with market trends and providing recommendations.
• Experience in Azure Databricks is a MUST.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Deep technical understanding of major cloud tools and data analytics methodologies.
• Strong experience with BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot.
• Strong ERP knowledge (SAP) in manufacturing and business acumen.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Certified Analytics Professional, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty).
