The Cloud Product Owner plays a pivotal role within the Cloud Services team, responsible for defining and managing the Product Lifecycle for Cloud Products on the Azure Platform. This position is integral to the strategic partnership between LSEG and Microsoft, aimed at transforming the way customers discover, analyze, and trade securities globally. The Cloud Product Owner will enable development teams to utilize standard Cloud Services through CI/CD pipelines while facilitating the migration of applications to the public cloud based on the Azure Platform. The role focuses on optimizing the 'Cloud First Strategy' by providing reusable patterns, templates, and scripts to enhance best practice adoption and reduce migration costs. In this role, the Cloud Product Owner will define, maintain, and drive the implementation of the Cloud product's Roadmap. They will also be responsible for defining the Cloud Product Framework (CPF) and promoting the consumption of Azure Services through this framework. The Cloud Product Owner will contribute to the definition of standards and policies, ensuring compliance for all products within the CPF portfolio. They will lead the delivery of Azure Services associated with Cloud Products and support the migration of applications to Azure tenants. The Cloud Product Owner will provide technical expertise in Azure computing and operations, resolving engineering, coding, security, and architecture issues. They will participate in tools Proof of Concept (POCs) and provide final analysis and recommendations. Additionally, the role involves creating educational materials and conducting training and mentoring sessions on Cloud Products and Services. The Cloud Product Owner is responsible for delivering Cloud Product designs, standards, and best practices for the Azure Platform, as well as maintaining and reporting on the Azure Cloud Product Roadmap. They will define the service catalog and provision Cloud Products within the framework, run the definition and build of standardized baseline patterns, templates, and scripts to facilitate Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and CI/CD orchestration, and contribute to maintaining a pattern library that includes standard solutions for common requirements.
