About the position

As an IT Security Analyst with FIS, you will be at the forefront of combating cyber-crime, playing a crucial role in protecting and securing highly-sensitive financial data for customers globally. This position is part of a dynamic Data Protection team that is responsible for safeguarding both internal and external customer data. You will collaborate closely with internal application teams and external partners to develop and implement strategies for protecting sensitive data. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that the data remains secure, whether it is at rest or in transit, across both on-premises and cloud environments. In this role, you will be involved in the application of state-of-the-art tools designed to protect sensitive data. You will work with end users to review application architectures, ensuring that sensitive data is adequately protected from potential threats. Your responsibilities will include building and managing applications that safeguard sensitive data, scanning for sensitive data, and analyzing reports to identify false positives. You will also monitor sensitive data tools and administer encryption appliances, assisting server administrators with the installation and uninstallation of encryption agents across various platforms including Windows, Linux, and AIX. You will be responsible for troubleshooting encryption-related incidents, responding to information security inquiries, and ensuring that all security systems are maintained and compliant with industry standards. Your role will require you to actively participate in daily standup meetings, coordinate with patching teams to remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure that all documentation is kept up to date. Responsibilities

  • Build and manage an application to protect sensitive data on-prem and cloud.
  • Scan for sensitive data and analyze reports to identify false positives.
  • Monitor sensitive data tools.
  • Administer Transparent and Application Level Encryption appliances.
  • Assist server administrators in installing and uninstalling encryption agents on Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms.
  • Register CTE and LDT agents, create policies, keys, and guard points.
  • Troubleshoot encryption-related incidents.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts related to encryption appliances.
  • Respond to information security-related questions and inquiries using established tools and procedures.
  • Interface with user community to understand security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them.
  • Maintain security systems and administer security policies to control access to systems.
  • Ensure that all servers are hardened for compliance and/or industry standards.
  • Ensure that the company meets all security standards for internal or external audits.
  • Represent configuration changes and major upgrades in change control.
  • Coordinate with patching teams and scanning to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in daily standup meetings with team members to discuss ongoing tasks.
  • Work with vendors in reporting and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ensure that all documentation is up to date.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer with a deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs.
  • Experience in scanning tools and working with Privacy Data Subject Requests (DSR) processing.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, container) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • 3-4 years of experience on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • Experience in Linux or Windows server administration.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in using relational database systems such as Oracle and MySQL and no relational DBs such as MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of Information security policies, controls, and processes.
  • Experience with Transparent Data Encryption mainly Vormetric/CipherTrust.
  • Experience in administering Vormetric DSMs and CipherTrust manager appliances.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Voltage secure data and application level encryption.
  • Experience in configuring and registering the VTE and LDT agents, policies, keys, and guard points.
  • Experience in troubleshooting CipherTrust/Vormetric encryption related issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory GDPR and PCI DSS.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and communicate clearly - both written and verbally.
