About the position

The Cloud Sales Specialist at Motorola Solutions is responsible for driving sales of innovative software and hardware solutions within the security industry. This role involves developing business strategies, prospecting new accounts, and building relationships with key stakeholders in both enterprise and public sector markets. The specialist will work closely with Pre-Sales Engineers to ensure technical excellence and will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets through effective solution-selling methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect end user accounts for new business opportunities.
  • Drive demand for Avigilon's cloud native video security platform within the assigned territory.
  • Present and demonstrate Avigilon Alta software-defined security platform to various stakeholders including CISOs and facility management.
  • Develop local and regional partnerships to design, configure, sell, install, and support Avigilon Alta solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering resources to ensure technical excellence in proposals and RFP responses.
  • Provide customers and partners with pricing and configurations as required.
  • Accurately forecast and report sales activity in line with expectations.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to close business and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Forge high-level relationships within accounts to win incremental product and service business.
  • Stay informed of the competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical sales experience.
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions, preferably in the security industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of overachievement in sales.
  • Experience selling to mid-market, large enterprise, and public sector accounts.
  • Strong hunter background with a history of success.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and C-level audiences.
  • Good knowledge of the security market.
  • Self-starter with strong goal orientation and ownership.
  • Good business acumen with experience in contracts and pricing.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and CRM tools.

  • Experience in the security industry is considered a plus.
