About the position
The Cloud Security Architect will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of a global manufacturing company by conducting architecture reviews, managing cloud security incidents, and developing security automation. This position is focused on securing cloud environments, particularly within Azure, and involves collaboration with senior management to ensure effective threat management and security practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct architecture reviews of incoming vendors and projects.
- Create reference architecture for cloud tenants.
- Manage cloud security incidents.
- Involve in threat management activities.
- Develop additional security automation and security dashboards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security operations.
- Strong skills in securing an Azure environment.
- Reference architecture skills.
- Knowledge of security operations, including SIEM and incident response.
- Experience with data loss prevention.
- Knowledge of CASB and other cloud controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant security certifications.
