About the position

The Cloud Security Engineer position at Stefanini Group involves maintaining and enhancing the security posture of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. The role focuses on identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance while working within a multidisciplinary DevOps team. The engineer will also automate security processes and support cloud engineers in adopting security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure/AWS/GCP platform, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities using various security tools.
• Provide cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development, and evaluation of security solutions and architectures.
• Implement and configure security controls and policies, manage access to data, and monitor threats to protect applications, containers, infrastructure, and networks.
• Implement threat protection and respond to security incident escalations.
• Automate security controls, data, and processes to enhance metrics and operational support using Terraform security-as-code.
• Configure access within a cloud solution environment using the defense-in-depth principle.
• Configure network security in a hybrid context with traditional network-centric controls.
• Ensure data protection and manage operations within a cloud solution environment using cloud-native tools.
• Support cloud engineers in implementing security best practices and enabling secure development and release processes.
• Ensure compliance and deliver/update documentation on operational tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Cyber Security and Network Security.
• Familiarity with Application Security and OWASP.
• Experience with DevOps, Terraform, and data protection.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $70.00 - $90.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
