About the position

As a Cloud Security Engineer at Acrisure, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud environments and ensuring the security of our financial products and services. Your primary focus will be on Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), where you will manage and triage CSPM tools to continuously monitor and assess the security posture of our cloud environments. This involves identifying misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and compliance violations, and taking corrective action to mitigate risks. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing zero trust security principles across our cloud infrastructure, ensuring strict access controls, continuous authentication and authorization, and micro-segmentation to minimize the impact of potential breaches. In addition to zero trust architecture, you will design and implement secure cloud architectures that align with industry best practices and comply with regulatory requirements. Compliance management will be a key aspect of your role, as you will ensure that our cloud environments adhere to relevant industry regulations and internal security policies. Furthermore, you will implement and manage data security measures to protect sensitive information in our cloud environments, contributing to the overall security strategy of Acrisure. Responsibilities

  • Manage and triage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to continuously monitor and assess the security posture of cloud environments.
  • Identify misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and compliance violations and take corrective action.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
  • Strong commitment to zero trust architecture.
  • Experience with security incident response and threat intelligence.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
