About the position

The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for enhancing and developing features for the company's cloud security services. This role involves automating AWS resources, improving Infrastructure as Code practices, monitoring cloud security health, and responding to internal customer requests. The position emphasizes a commitment to diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and enhance features on Cloud Security team-owned home-grown services.
• Develop automation with AWS resources and components such as Lambdas, S3, IAM, AWS Organizations, etc.
• Enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure security health through various tools, such as Prisma, GuardDuty, Qualys, Cloudtrails, etc.
• Investigate and troubleshoot security-related incidents.
• Respond to and work on customer (internal Developers) requests through multiple channels, such as Slack and service desk requests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall experience as an Engineer.
• Experience coding in Python from scratch (70% of their day to day).
• Good experience and understanding of AWS security services.
• Cloud Security background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enterprise-level experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS Serverless services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, etc.
