As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your expertise in cloud architecture to develop solutions that enhance national security. This role involves designing and integrating cloud-based applications to support mission-critical operations, utilizing the latest cloud technologies to improve enterprise capabilities for risk management and continuous monitoring. Responsibilities

• Design and integrate cloud-based applications to support mission-critical operations.
• Utilize the latest cloud technologies to enhance enterprise capabilities for risk management and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with standards throughout the cloud migration process.
• Lead solution deployment and apply industry best practices.
• Drive high-visibility solutions and collaborate with team members to improve cloud architecture.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing, testing, and deploying operating systems in various environments.
• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Architect in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• 1+ years of experience with AWS security and implementing secure design principles.
• Experience leading teams and implementing industry best practices and frameworks.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or ICD 503.
• Experience with automated CI/CD platforms.
• Experience as ISSE/ISSM.
• Familiarity with operating systems, platforms, and technologies including Windows, Linux, cloud, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of customer IT systems, requirements, and processes for information assurance, assessment, and authorization activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
