About the position

The Senior Cybersecurity Product Manager at Bank of America is responsible for integrating security controls as code within cloud platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect cloud infrastructure from emerging threats. The position emphasizes product vision, compliance, and governance, while advocating for cybersecurity best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with Cybersecurity, Line of Business, and Customer Goals.
  • Capture demand, prioritize mitigation of key risks, and maintain a backlog for the development team.
  • Ensure compliance of cloud environments with internal control requirements and regulatory obligations, supported by robust reporting and dashboards.
  • Communicate the possibilities the Cloud provides for Cybersecurity vision and roadmap to stakeholders and drive user adoption.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and IT teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of security controls, policies, and procedures for cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Product Management in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud security and integrating controls as code.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience building and operating cloud-native security tools and services.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO) and their application in cloud environments.
  • Experience working in modern development teams, leveraging agile concepts and frameworks for planning and prioritization.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate insights in simple terms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Developer Associate, and Azure Security Engineer Associate.
