ATS is actively hiring a Cloud Core Services Systems Engineer with a current TS/SCI w/poly to support the Engineering Services and Solutions Division in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

• General management/coordination of CCS Team, which includes Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, Server Administrators, and Logistics Engineers.
• Design, implement, configure, and maintain the network infrastructure for the Data Warehouse Platforms (DWP).
• Coordinate all the engineering and logistics activities.
• Act as liaison between CCS and DWP Operations team, Hardware deployment and installation teams, and other organizations.
• Establish and maintain 'battle-rhythm' (e.g., scheduling & leading many weekly meetings for various teams and CCS customers).
• Oversee activities using ticketing process (implemented in Jira).
• Provide overall operational management of DWP systems instantiation from design, through procurement, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operational sustainment.

Requirements

• Minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience in systems, hardware and software engineering performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
• Ten (10) years’ experience out of the most recent 20 years as a systems engineering lead, software engineering lead or top level contributor on mission critical production systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
