About the position

The Cloud Software Developer (DevOps) at Accenture Federal Services is responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure. This role focuses on utilizing continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) methodologies, along with cloud technologies and container orchestration, to enhance the security and efficiency of software development processes. The position aims to support the US federal government in improving its operations through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Use DevSecOps to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption while enabling rapid and stable delivery of capabilities using continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, methodologies, and technologies
  • Identify, prototype, engineer, and deploy emerging software engineering methodologies and tools
  • Automate and enhance DevSecOps pipelines and other tasks
  • Define and promote enterprise software engineering and DevSecOps standards, practices, and behaviors
  • Operate and support a suite of enterprise DevSecOps services

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years software development experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, that may include golang, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML
  • Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as terraform
  • Minimum 1 years experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Minimum 1 years experience with container technologies/software such as Kubernetes
  • Minimum 1 years experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study or 6 years of experience working with IT systems may substitute academic degree
  • Active TS with SCI eligibility clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and an AWS certification
  • Cloud Computing Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
