About the position

The Cloud Software Developer for EDA Intern position is a summer internship aimed at graduate students, focusing on developing scalable architectures in a cloud environment for Electronic Design Automation (EDA). Interns will work on creating solutions that allow customers to utilize cloud resources as an extension of their on-premise hardware, enhancing the efficiency of hardware design workloads and reducing time-to-market. This role involves collaboration with researchers, hardware designers, and software engineers to deliver innovative EDA applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable architectures in a cloud environment for Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
• Create solutions that enable optimized workloads for EDA applications.
• Integrate services that allow customers to leverage cloud resources alongside on-premise hardware.
• Collaborate with researchers, hardware designers, and software engineers to develop as a Service solutions for EDA.
• Contribute to the development and integration of cloud-based services.

Requirements

• PhD or MS students pursuing graduate studies.
• Expertise in cloud technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring techniques.
• Understanding of optimization techniques.
