The role involves building scalable architectures for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and integrating services that allow customers to utilize IBM Cloud for advanced hardware design workloads. Interns will collaborate with researchers and engineers to create innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable architectures in a cloud environment for Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
• Integrate services that enable customers to leverage IBM Cloud as an extension of their on-premise hardware.
• Collaborate with researchers, hardware designers, and software engineers to create as a Service solutions for EDA applications.

Requirements

• PhD or MS students pursuing graduate studies.
• Experience in Cloud Automation (IaC).
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of cloud development methodologies.
