Responsibilities

• Design and build sophisticated and modern software solutions in Cloud environments.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously seek to expand knowledge.
• Troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A TS/SCI with Polygraph level of clearance is required.
• 5+ years of solid software engineering experience.
• Experience in application migration into cloud environments and technologies.
• Experience using Docker or Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Development experience with cloud environments and technologies such as Accumulo, and Hadoop, and experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of developing data transformation pre-processors and data flow management leveraging NiFi.
• Strong experience with code and script such as Java, Python, and Javascript.
