About the position

LCG is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solutions Architect/Developer (SME) responsible for leading the design, development, and management of scalable and secure cloud systems that align with client business objectives. This role requires over 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and development, focusing on driving innovation through Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions. The position is critical for ensuring performance optimization, security, and compliance across cloud environments, while supporting digital transformation initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Leverage experience to maintain focus and overcome challenges during cloud infrastructure setbacks or obstacles.
• Apply advanced tools and techniques to automate cloud processes, improving system efficiency and driving cost-effective performance enhancements.
• Lead workshops, ideation sessions, and design-thinking initiatives that foster a culture of innovation and digital enablement within the organization.
• Identify opportunities for long-term growth and success, positioning the cloud infrastructure as a key enabler of the organization’s future.
• Empower cross-functional teams to think creatively and collaboratively, driving innovation while aligning cloud strategies with broader business goals.
• Manage complex cloud projects using Agile and DevOps principles, demonstrating flexibility to shift between high-level strategy and hands-on technical development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and development, with a strong track record in designing and implementing cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.
• Expertise in developing IaaS and PaaS solutions, as well as cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.
• Extensive experience with cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and DevOps principles.
• Proven ability to optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency while ensuring security and compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps tools, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
• Experience applying AI, Machine Learning, and data exploitation on cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize cloud management tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, to enhance productivity in day-to-day tasks.
