About the position

The Cloud Solutions Architect at PROLIM Global Corporation is responsible for designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. This role involves providing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with various teams to implement robust cloud solutions, and ensuring alignment with security standards. The architect will also assess existing infrastructure, recommend modifications, and educate teams on best practices in cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to develop and implement cloud solutions.
• Select appropriate AWS services based on requirements.
• Design distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.
• Identify and gather requirements for cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend modifications.
• Educate on architectural principles and best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with security standards.
• Lead technical and design discussions on new technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Expertise in operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP).
• General knowledge of database software (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres).
• Knowledge of identity and access management and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with ITIL ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow).
• Experience managing Archer GRC.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of AWS storage and backup solutions.
