About the position

The Cloud Solutions Engineer (Azure IoT Edge) is responsible for deploying and managing IoT Edge devices and modules within Azure's IoT ecosystem. This role focuses on implementing solutions that leverage Azure Cloud services, particularly in the context of industrial IoT applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in embedded programming and cloud technologies, enabling them to effectively manage device provisioning and data capture in an IoT environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy IoT Edge device modules in IoTHub & IoT Central.
• Implement Yocto deployments in IoT Edge.
• Deploy OPC Module and establish communication with Kepserver for Industrial Use Cases.
• Deploy SQL Edge with Stream Analytics.
• Capture data using NeuronX & Ekuiper.
• Implement Blob storage on Edge.
• Utilize Azure Kubernetes Services.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Yocto and IIOT.
• Proficiency in IoT Edge and Azure Cloud services.
• Experience in device provisioning and management.
• Embedded programming skills in C++, Embedded C, C#, and Python.
• Familiarity with NeuronX and Ekuiper.
• Experience with Docker, AKS, and K3s.
• Knowledge of Azure OTA.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with Azure Stream Analytics.
• Familiarity with Blob storage and Virtual machines (VMs).
• Experience with IoT Central & IoT Hub, Private Endpoints.
• Knowledge of Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Experience with Az DevOps Pipelines.
• Implementing A/B partitioning in Yocto OS.
• Conducting OTA updates using Mender.
• Provisioning Quemu.
