The Cloud Success Manager for the Air Force at Oracle is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with sales acumen to ensure client success and satisfaction. This position is part of a matrixed sales team, where the individual will provide specialist cloud migration expertise and general technical assistance to Air Force clients. The primary focus is on architecting technical solutions and developing effective strategies tailored for the GDI/Air Force market. The Cloud Success Manager will assist new clients in formulating cloud migration strategies and will provide hands-on assistance or coordinate resources as necessary. A critical aspect of this role is to drive cloud consumption rapidly, both for new workloads and existing or adjacent workloads. In this client-facing role, the Cloud Success Manager will manage solution opportunities, ensuring that all qualified opportunities have the necessary resources allocated. The individual will lead teams through the sales process, enhancing market visibility and deal visibility. Presenting and demonstrating solutions to high-level clients and industry conference attendees is a key responsibility, as is providing training to field sales teams on industry solutions. Building and maintaining a robust network while staying updated on specific industry or product knowledge is essential. The Cloud Success Manager will partner with sales representatives to qualify and close new business opportunities on Oracle solutions, leveraging their subject matter expertise in the industry and product space. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of key industry leaders and management, as well as knowledge of Oracle's competition. They should have experience in presentation and product demonstrations, along with a background in consultative selling. Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills are crucial for success in this role. The position may require travel, and a BA/BS degree in a related field is preferred.
