About the position

The Cloud Support Engineer / Administrator - DevOps role is a critical position within the Cybersecurity Engineering team, specifically focusing on support engineering. This team is responsible for managing changes and providing ongoing support for a suite of security tools, as well as developing data pipelines for reporting purposes. The role involves collaborating with partners and stakeholders who utilize these security tools, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the necessary support. Additionally, the engineer will gather feedback and feature requests from customers to drive product improvements, ensuring that the tools remain effective and user-friendly. In this position, the engineer will be tasked with installing and supporting the integration of security software tools with other platform services and products. This includes supporting patching, upgrades, and testing of security-related software to maintain the integrity and security of the systems. The engineer will work closely with various teams, including Global Architecture, Enterprise Platform and Engineering, Cyber Enablement Services, and Cybersecurity Operations, to provide product life-cycle management for both new and existing products. Another key responsibility will be to set up and support directory service integration of security software tools with identity providers (idP). The engineer will also be expected to identify gaps in security policy and administration, recommend solutions, and implement new or revised security standards in collaboration with partner teams to ensure consistency and awareness across the organization. Proactive identification and investigation of potential issues and patterns in security controls will be essential, along with recommending mitigation strategies in partnership with other teams. The role will also focus on identifying opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across systems, as well as providing API integration support. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to engage in deep technical discussions with customers and peers, establishing oneself as a trusted technical advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Support partners and stakeholders utilizing security tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Automation scripting experience in Python, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with API related technologies such as JSON, REST, Swagger, and Postman.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automating infrastructure deployment.
  • Working knowledge of security tools such as Wiz, Cribl, Splunk, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging in technical discussions with customers and peers.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
