About The Position

The Cloud System Administrator will work within a cross-functional team to design, install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise systems, with a focus on transitioning to cloud frameworks for enhanced functionality. This role requires a hands-on approach and collaboration with team members to ensure effective system operations.

Requirements

• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with zero years of experience.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or AIX.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with container-based approaches.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, Theory of Constraints).
• Collaborative mentality and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (must be willing to obtain).
• Operating System Certificates validating depth of knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise systems.
• Support the transition to cloud frameworks for enterprise functionality.
• Advise technicians and engineering designers on system changes.
• Evaluate hardware and software configurations based on reporting formats, cost constraints, and security needs.
• Ensure understanding and automation of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements.
• Troubleshoot outages and system errors, implementing recommended fixes.
