About the position

The Cloud System Engineer role at Schneider Electric involves managing and maintaining cloud systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This position also includes responsibilities as a local security analyst, working with multiple security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud solutions using AWS or Azure.
• Manage the migration of on-premises systems to the cloud.
• Monitor and optimize cloud systems for performance and cost.
• Work with the development team to maintain, test, and deploy new applications.
• Assist in maintaining and refining threat models.
• Manage and coordinate vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Work with functional teams to resolve reported vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate between corporate teams and policies for internal applications and system projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years in managing cloud solutions.
• Basic level understanding of computer security concepts including network security.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
