About the position

The Cloud Technical Project Manager will oversee operations and support teams for a large cloud-based application, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and managing incidents effectively. This role requires a strong technical background in Java and cloud technologies, along with excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Operations and Support teams for a large cloud-based application
• Analyze, identify, troubleshoot, and rectify application/infrastructure issues
• Own and manage major incidents in production and lower environments as defined by the customers
• Track and ensure compliance of various metrics such as SLA, MTTR, MTTA, MTBF of the application
• Identify improvement areas and drive automation and transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure application support activities are completed within the SLAs
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks timely to all stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and managers

Requirements

• 10-15 years of total experience in project management
• Strong technical background in Java-based applications
• Proficiency in Microservices, REST APIs, and Cloud technologies
• Excellent skills in analyzing and troubleshooting application/infrastructure issues
• Strong knowledge of telemetry & monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, CloudWatch
• Experience in client-facing roles with excellent communication skills

• Experience with Elasticpath or other E-Commerce based application platforms and infrastructure
