About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Clow Valve is responsible for implementing innovative sales strategies to establish Clow Valve as the leading choice in the water works industry across the states of Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Idaho. This role focuses on building relationships, showcasing products through demonstrations, and expanding the territory's market share.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate proactive sales strategies to build demand for Clow Valve products.
  • Lead at least 5 live demos, presentations, or CEU classes per month to educate about products.
  • Maintain and establish relationships through 6-12 face-to-face meetings or on-site distributor visits per month.
  • Act as the face of Clow Valve by increasing distributors' knowledge of Clow products through active sales efforts.
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences to enhance community presence and distributor relations.
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate market intelligence to inform pricing and sales strategies.
  • Communicate and influence current and prospective distributors to schedule meetings, demos, and trainings.
  • Develop knowledge of industry standards and products to serve as a resource for distributors.
  • Manage paperwork, including invoices and reports, ensuring timely submission of expenses and bids.
  • Coordinate customer requests through clear communication with Clow team members and departments.
  • Engage in personal development to improve sales skills and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • Five years of sales experience or ten years of face-to-face sales experience in the industry required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective public speaking skills for large groups.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects above head with minimal assistance.
  • Knowledge of mobile devices and basic assembly tools.
