About The Position
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) trainee position at Stanford Health Care is a full-time role designed for individuals seeking to develop their skills in clinical laboratory science. This one-year rotational program allows trainees to gain hands-on experience across various laboratory departments, including medical microbiology, clinical chemistry, and transfusion medicine. Trainees will also engage in didactic courses in partnership with accredited universities, ultimately preparing for the ASCP National Certification exam and obtaining California CLS licensure.
