About the position

The Club Janitorial Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment at the Indio Jackson Center. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service through various cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring member satisfaction and adherence to health standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors in all areas of the club
• Cleans and dusts all weight and cardio equipment
• Restocks supplies
• Empties garbage and recycling containers
• Completes daily and weekly scope of work as assigned
• Performs special cleaning projects as assigned
• Cleans and maintains wet areas of the club, if applicable
• Performs minor cosmetic repairs on equipment
• Partners with Facility Technician for cleaning duties on equipment
• Performs minor painting as approved by General Manager
• Uses janitorial supplies according to product labels and club manuals
• Reports facility maintenance issues via Service Channel
• Reports member complaints to the General Manager

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Attention to detail
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months of janitorial experience
