About the position

The Club Janitorial Attendant at 24 Hour Fitness is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within the club to enhance member satisfaction. This role involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas of the facility meet health and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors in all areas of the club, including locker rooms and cardio areas
• Cleans and dusts all weight and cardio equipment
• Restocks supplies as needed
• Empties garbage and recycling containers
• Completes daily and weekly cleaning tasks as assigned
• Performs special cleaning projects as directed
• Cleans and maintains wet areas of the club, if applicable
• Performs minor cosmetic repairs on equipment
• Partners with Facility Technician for cleaning duties on equipment
• Performs minor painting as approved by management
• Uses janitorial supplies according to product labels and manuals
• Reports facility maintenance issues and member complaints to management

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
