About the position

The Club Manager at Sam's Club is responsible for overseeing all facility operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving membership and sales growth. This role involves managing a team, enhancing member experience, and maintaining financial performance while fostering community relationships and supporting associates' development.

Responsibilities

  • Directs management team in all facility operations, ensuring asset protection and inventory control.
  • Drives membership and sales growth by building relationships with Business Members and potential Members.
  • Increases quality of Member experience through effective service levels and merchandise presentation.
  • Drives financial performance by achieving budgeted sales and controlling expenses.
  • Ensures compliance with company and legal policies through monitoring and reporting.
  • Initiates and participates in community outreach programs, representing the company in the community.
  • Provides direction on member service approaches and resolves member complaints as needed.
  • Supervises and develops management and hourly associates, ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Recruits qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
  • Oversees food safety standards and compliance in the facility.

Requirements

  • 3 years of management experience.
