About the position
The Club Manager at United PF Management, LLC is responsible for leading and supporting the team in running the club operations while embodying the company's culture, mission, and values. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service in a judgment-free environment, influencing team performance through coaching, and driving business growth through sales initiatives. The Club Manager will also recruit and develop team members, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all members.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and hire enthusiastic team members who align with the Planet Fitness philosophy.
- Develop and lead the team to take ownership of the business and provide an exceptional member experience.
- Lead by example in all aspects of club operations.
- Foster a sense of family among team members and club members by honoring the United PF mission and core values.
- Grow the business and deliver results through sales initiatives and managing controllable costs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in customer service and operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and manage the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Great organizational, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
