About the position

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as ClubZone Childrens Programming Staff. As a staff member, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in education, sports coaching, and childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Educate and engage children through a variety of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, games, and team-building exercises
• Provide guidance and support to children in their personal growth and development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
• Assist with planning and implementing daily schedules and activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members
• Demonstrate leadership skills by serving as a positive role model for children
• Utilize first aid skills when necessary to provide immediate care for minor injuries or illnesses
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities

Requirements

• Experience working with children or in a camp, classroom, or similar setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Sports coaching abilities to lead and facilitate sports activities
• Familiarity with childhood development stages and milestones
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers and parents
• Excellent problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations or conflicts
• Ability to manage a group of children while maintaining discipline and order
• First aid certification is preferred but not required
