About the position

The Clubhouse Activities Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing engaging programs focused on recreation, academics, and mentorship for youth in grades 3-5. This role aims to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment that fosters the growth and development of young people, aligning with the organization's mission to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and coordinate a range of recreational, academic, and leadership activities for members that are fun, intentional, and outcome driven.
  • Create a seasonal calendar of activities and programs.
  • Develop, track, and assess programming to meet member interest and organizational goals.
  • Maintain all spaces, materials, and supplies.
  • Be a role model and foster a fun, positive, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Assist in the general operation of the Boys & Girls Club, including providing customer service to parents, members, volunteers, and community members.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with the team to reach program area and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience working with school-age children.
  • Bilingual communication skills.
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with youth and families from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Service-oriented with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass a background check.
