About the position
The Clubhouse Unit Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the designated Clubhouse, focusing on program and service delivery, staff supervision and training, facilities management, community relations, and membership administration. This role aims to create a supportive environment for youth development and ensure the Clubhouse is a hub of community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage overall daily operations of the Clubhouse.
- Establish programs and services that prepare youth for success.
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment for all members.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate overall programs and services.
- Manage financial resources and assist in budget development.
- Recruit and manage staff and volunteers, providing career development opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with parents and community organizations.
- Recruit and retain youth members according to club vision.
- Maintain public relations to increase visibility of programs and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of five years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
- Experience working with youth and understanding of youth development.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Negative TB test and background check clearance.
Nice-to-haves
