About the position
We are seeking a visionary and analytical Cluster Director of Finance to join our team in Egypt, United States. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the financial operations and strategy for a cluster of our business units, driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term goals and objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across multiple locations within the cluster
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the cluster
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making at the executive level
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management processes
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
- Collaborate with other department heads to optimize financial performance and support business growth
- Present financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent
- 10+ years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in a multinational environment
- Proven track record of managing finance teams across multiple locations or business units
- Advanced skills in financial management, analysis, and strategic planning
- Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- In-depth knowledge of international financial regulations and reporting standards
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
