About the position

The Cluster Sales Manager at White Lodging is responsible for securing group and volume business for the hotel, ensuring that financial goals are met. This role is essential for building relationships and driving sales within the hospitality sector, particularly for those passionate about a career in hospitality sales.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit, confirm and coordinate Special Corporate and Group sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries and leads requests for groups.
  • Respond in a timely manner to incoming group/catering opportunities.
  • Work with customers to align preferences with brand needs and actively up-sell business opportunities.
  • Seek out new business that would not utilize the hotel without direct efforts.
  • Identify issues of revenue generation and execute strategies to address them.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients to secure long-term business.
  • Communicate actions and record activities to measure efforts and implement successful strategies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred.
  • 1 year experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality sales.
