About the position

The Program Manager position at the Lansing Correctional Facility is responsible for overseeing and coordinating case management related to resident success, including risk reduction and reentry programs. The role involves ensuring that all programs are evidence-based and effectively delivered, managing work release processes, and collaborating with various teams to maximize program access for residents of all risk levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all case management related to resident success at the Lansing Correctional Facility.
• Work with facility administration to ensure case management and reentry functions benefit residents.
• Establish methods and strategies for cohesive and impactful case management.
• Supervise designated Program Providers and monitor evidence-based programming for offenders.
• Collaborate with unit teams to ensure timely referrals and effective reentry services.
• Develop and maintain a master Operating Procedures manual for East Campus.
• Identify barriers to residents being work release ready and devise plans to address them.
• Coordinate risk reduction services and ensure they are evidence-based and delivered timely.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or public administration.
• Three years of experience in the field of corrections, including at least one year of supervisory and administrative/management experience.
