About the position

The CMM Programmer position at Twin City EDM involves supporting the quality department's daily operations and assisting project management. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in manufacturing processes, particularly in the medical and industrial sectors. Responsibilities

• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Write and run programs on OGP Vision Systems and PC DIMIS CMM's.
• Accurately fill out detailed inspection criteria and workplace documents.
• Attend pre and postproduction meetings.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Gage Control to ensure timely program completion.
• Work with the QA Manager to complete the internal training program.
• Implement changes for ISO 9001 & 13485 compliance.
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis and product disposition.
• Support Gage R&R and machine validation with the Quality Engineer.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming and operating PC DIMIS or CMM Manager.
• Experience with programming vision systems, preferably OGP's, using Measure Mind Software, Zone 3, and Measure X.
• Proficient in GD&T and print reading.
• At least one year of blueprint reading and measuring/hand tool equipment experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience as a QA Inspector (preferred).
