About the position

The CMM Programmer role at E-Business International involves creating and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to ensure quality control and compliance with customer specifications. This position emphasizes customer focus, collaboration with engineering and production teams, and continuous improvement of quality processes. The role is essential for sustaining an efficient quality management system aligned with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the voice of the customer and maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Create CMM programs that accurately capture and interpret customer specifications and design intent.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to meet customer value stream requirements.
• Review and improve quality control processes and procedures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with engineering, production, and tooling services to design CMM-related fixtures and gauging.
• Conduct gauge and process capability studies as required.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on current quality technology and processes.
• Assist in compliance with the company's Quality Management System and alignment with ISO standards.

Requirements

• A degree in manufacturing or quality field is desired but not required.
• Previous training, certification, and/or demonstrated experience in CMM programming is required.
• Understanding and exposure to ISO requirements is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with effective time management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a CMM Programmer for 5 years is preferred.
• Adaptability and openness to new ideas and opinions.
