About the position

As a Quality Analyst on our home lending team, you will be working on a diverse team of professionals executing quality assurance testing against established criteria. You thrive on building relationships with different lines of business and operations teams, seeking engaging ways to support business partners while leveraging various systems. Welcoming feedback through an iterative communication process is second nature to you. You will explore opportunities for enhancements and process streamlining when analyzing current state procedures. Your role will involve performing quality control testing on Home Lending servicing and default-related processes. This includes testing activities such as reviewing data and documentation for timeliness, accuracy, and completion of processes at the loan level. You will also review for consistency, conduct system analysis, and assess regulatory compliance, as well as Chase policy and investor program requirements, as applicable. Reporting discovered findings or gaps to the team leader for immediate corrective action is a key responsibility. Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering root causes and corrective actions for trends or system failures. Meeting with management to review findings and corrections related to testing will be part of your duties, ensuring that daily work is logged correctly for tracking purposes. You may also assist in identifying gaps in policy, procedures, and job aids. Throughout your work, you will demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's desired culture and values, performing other related duties as required and assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control testing on Home Lending servicing and default related processes.
  • Conduct testing activities including review of data and documentation for timeliness, accuracy, and completion of processes at loan level.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant mortgage experience in default, origination, operations, or quality control.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oversight roles such as auditing and/or operational quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey ideas and collaborate with all levels of management.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to offer solutions and new ideas.
