About The Position

The CMP Assistant Manager at Travel + Leisure Co. plays a crucial role in supporting the CMP Marketing Manager by overseeing daily operations and productivity of the CMP Marketing Team. This position involves direct supervision of marketing staff, ensuring marketing standards are met, and coordinating with sales management to optimize tour flow and marketing programs. The role is essential for maintaining high performance and operational efficiency within the marketing team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years of marketing experience, preferably in the vacation ownership industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach, counsel, and motivate direct reports effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills, especially in handling upset owners.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and negotiate effectively.
• Working knowledge of marketing databases and ability to lead by example.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Technical skills in maintaining knowledge of company systems such as Mainframe, Focus, and CRS.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of CMP Marketing staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain total site marketing penetration standards and prepare daily and weekly status reports for management.
• Coordinate with Front Line sales management regarding tour seats and marketing program changes.
• Maintain copies of invitations and daily tour manifests, resolving issues related to bookings and tour statuses.
• Order and maintain departmental supplies and perform other duties as assigned.
