About the position

Carolina Caring is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care services to hospice patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. This full-time position operates from 7 AM to 7 PM and is essential for delivering individualized care in hospice houses located in Newton and Sherrills Ford. The role requires a compassionate individual dedicated to supporting patients and their families during critical times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services to hospice patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Follow individualized plans of care and case load assignments.
• Assist with daily living activities for hospice patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Document patient care and report any changes to the nursing staff.

Requirements

• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current listing as CNA I with DFS.
• Current listing as NA II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• One to three years of clinical experience, preferably in hospice or home health care.
