About the position

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) position at Logan Health involves providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of assigned leadership. The role is essential in ensuring patient comfort and safety while assisting with daily living activities and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities

  • Delivers and assists in the delivery of basic patient care under the guidance of assigned leadership.
  • Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
  • Performs accurate CNA assessments and takes patients' vital signs, informing stakeholders of any abnormalities.
  • Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned areas.
  • Accurately documents the care rendered to patients as defined by department procedures.
  • Maintains inventory, restocks rooms, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness.
  • Assists in maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Works with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
  • Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations as applicable.

Requirements

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
  • Current CPR certification required as applicable to assigned areas.
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Home Health Aide certification preferred or must obtain within six months of hire.
  • Understanding of confidentiality laws, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Current Driver's License required for the Driver portion of the position.
  • Driving record must not reflect major offenses in the past thirty-six months.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to set priorities and function as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Home Health Aide certification preferred.
