As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Tabitha's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults. This full-time position requires a commitment to making a difference in the lives of our residents, ensuring their well-being and happiness. You will work the night shift from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, with a weekend rotation every third Saturday and Sunday, totaling 36 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and transferring. You will also assist with admissions, discharges, and the orientation of new employees, ensuring that all documentation is completed according to department protocols. In addition to providing personal care, you may also be involved in administering medications and treatments as a Med Aide, or assisting with functional maintenance activities as a Functional Maintenance Aide. This role requires you to prioritize assignments and adjust to the frequently changing needs of residents and team members throughout your shift. You will be expected to perform your duties within the assigned work environment and adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential for understanding care plans and interacting with residents and staff.
