About The Position

The CNA I - PRN position at Haywood Regional Medical Center involves providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Acute care patient experience preferred.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment are required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Monitor vital signs and record intake and output.
• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
