About the position

The CNA or PCA position at Right at Home involves providing in-home care to clients, focusing on assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. The role offers flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, and provides an opportunity for individuals interested in becoming caregivers to receive necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Assisting clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, and companionship.
• Providing medication reminders to clients.
• Documenting daily activities and reporting any important changes in the patient's condition to the office.
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, shopping, and errands.

Requirements

• Completion of a CNA, PCA, DCA, or HHA program.
• Ability to handle and deescalate difficult situations and behaviors.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be reliable and flexible.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
