About the position
The position involves assisting in the transportation and perioperative preparation of patients across various age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, under the direction of the Department Director.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the transportation of patients to and from surgical areas.
- Prepare patients for perioperative procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality care.
Requirements
- Previous hospital or surgery experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA required.
- CNA certification or hospital experience within the last 3 years required.
Nice-to-haves
- Phlebotomy skills preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
