About the position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Trusted Medical, LLC plays a crucial role in providing basic patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers. This position focuses on serving Veterans by ensuring efficient clinic operations, including patient check-ins, medical documentation retrieval, and examination assistance. The CNA is expected to maintain a clean and safe environment while delivering compassionate care and effective communication to support patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Record patient information and care provided in electronic medical records (EMR) or patient charts.
• Scheduling, intake, discharge, and customer service of all Veterans in the clinic.
• Assisting with performing procedures (based on approval) under the delegation of the Health Care Provider in the clinic after either certification/proper training and competency checks.
• Creation and maintenance of the physical and virtual site binders for compliance purposes.
• Support Trusted Medical, Providers and other healthcare professionals with tasks as needed.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with healthcare practices and protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Current certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
