About the position

Interim Healthcare is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, providing care for seniors and those with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in various settings including long-term care facilities and assisted living environments. We offer flexible scheduling options, including PRN, self-scheduling, and contract staffing opportunities. Our team is committed to ensuring that each patient's care plan is followed, and we work closely with facility staff to address any changes in care or medical needs.

Responsibilities

• PRN, Self-Scheduling and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and/or Assisted Living Settings
• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease
• Aide with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake, if applicable
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, if applicable
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes, as needed
• Work with the facility staff to ensure a patient's care plan is followed and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Requirements

• Active CNA License within South Dakota, or reciprocity/multi-state eligibility (transfer eligibility)
• Maintains required certification renewal(s)
• Experience highly preferred but not required
• Must be 18 years of age, or older
