About the position

The Staff Financial Analyst will support the Finance Department's daily operations by assisting senior managers, particularly in relation to SEC reporting needs. The role requires a solid understanding of financial accounting and the financial services industry, with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior managers with day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
• Support current and future SEC reporting needs.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in all work performed.
• Collaborate with all departments to support financial oversight and reporting activities.
• Assist during quarter-end reporting processes and cross-train within the Finance Department.
• Evaluate processes to effectively use technology for efficiencies.
• Pursue professional development opportunities and complete required online banking classes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills including email, internet, and intranet use.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret financial data.
• Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with general ledger software and transaction systems.
